Political activities for the formation of governments at the centre and in the provinces are in final states. The announcement by Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League-N and Awami National Party to cooperate with each other, has paved the way for a coalition of the three parties at the centre. In Islamabad, leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim league (N), Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Khuwaja Mohammad Asif told media men that their confidence on each other has increased after the elections and they have no differences on any issue. They said that till the process of the formation of government completes, they will hold joint briefing on daily basis. All elected representatives of Peoples Party, PML (N) and Awami national party are collectively being invited on a dinner in Islamabad during which decision will be made regarding federal and provincial governments as well as the speaker. Peoples party spokesman Farhatullah Babar while talking to journalists said names of federal and provincial parliamentary leaders would be announced after they will get an invitation to form the government. For Balochistan assembly a meeting of the elected representatives of Pakistan Peoples Party was held in Islamabad with part's cochairman Asif Ali Zardari in chair. According to peoples party sources Nawab Aslam Raisani name came forward as the parliamentary leader in Balochistan. For Sindh assembly the people party members are also holding meeting for the formation of government. In the meeting it was unanimously agreed that along with MQM, ANP will also be included to form a government. For Balochistan assembly the meeting of the elected representatives of MMA continued for the second day today. The party sources said the decisions would be announced later. According to sources in Punjab Assembly the majority party Muslim League (N) will form the government with the cooperation of Peoples party. In NWFP, Awami national party is in a position to form the government in cooperation with Peoples Party. An important meeting of national Awami party has been convened in Peshawar tomorrow. Party president Asfandyar Wali will preside over the meeting. The meeting is also expected to nominate the would-be chief minister of NWFP.
